The San Jose City Council has approved a $2.7 mill. contract to start developing 3 Creeks Trail, possibly as early as next month.

When finished, the almost mile-long segment of the trail will provide a paved route for pedestrians and bicyclists between Los Gatos Creek and MN Avenue in Willow Glen.

The project also entails native plants, trail gateways, irrigation and “interpretative stations that speak to the site’s historical roots as an access corridor in the cannery business,” according to a city public works department memo.
