Los Gatos girls lose in overtime in CCS D-I soccer semifinals

The girls high school soccer season came to an end last week, just as everybody knew it would—it’s just that the end came 3 days earlier than the Los Gatos girls had hoped it would.

The Wildcats entered the Central Coast Section Division I soccer playoffs as the No. 1 seed and kept their title dreams alive with wins over No. sixteen San Mateo and No. nine Leland to move into the semifinals against No. five Woodside on March 1.

That type of play led to the first-half goal by Keady, but the Cats could not maintain their style in the 2nd half.
